Fertility Concerns
Expectant parents may come across one of the many health issues that result in fertility issues or concerns. It is vitally important that before you plan to try to conceive (TTC) that these fertility concerns are understood and that you are aware of methods of overcoming them.
Here are some of the usual health conditions that affect fertility and how couples TTC can overcome them:
Endometriosis
Fertility concerns can result of Endometriosis. Endometriosis is a medical condition where the uterus lining known as the endometrial tissue grows outside the uterus. This abnormal growth can into the fallopian tubes and other parts of the female reproductive organ; this can stop progress of fertilisation.
This medical condition can spread to other parts of the body, some symptoms of Endometriosis is very heaving bleeding during the menstrual cycle, painful menstrual cycles or painful sexual intercourse, pelvic pains or unusual spots occurrences.

Annovulation
Annovulation is medical condition were ovulation is not regular this sometimes that happens if the varies do not release eggs on a regular monthly basis. Occasionally Annovulation is not permanent and can be as a result of stress, strain, an illness or even sudden weight loss.
Symptoms of Annovulation can be irregular types of periods such cases where you don't bleeding as you would normally. If you find that you are not having a regular menstrual cycle you should see your GP for further advice for the cause of Annovulation. Annovulation can be caused hormonal conditions. Irregular menstrual cycles can result from any number of things, so it is important to find out if its something that needs medical attention. In some cases Annovulation can be reversed following advice from a health care professional. Other causes could be a pituitary condition or a thyroid disorder or even PCOS (Polycystic Ovarian Disease).
Luckily, for cases involving hormonal factors, there are treatments that can be followed, these include Clomid and Provera. The treatment involving Provera, helps by getting the menstrual cycle going again who are not bleeding as appropriate. Clomid stimulates ovulation to occur for expectant mothers with difficulty ovulating on a regular basis.
Alternate herbal medication is avail too and it should be noted that these natural remedies are not side affects free. As before the herbal alternatives are taken to stimulus regular ovulation and menstrual bleeding. If you are in contact with your doctor and you have decide to take the herbal medication treatment route then you should let your doctor know, and that's especially if s/he is providing treatment for you. Some herbal remedies include the Chaste Tree Berry or Don Quai or Vitex. Another cause of non regular menstrual cycle is Luteal phase defect and Vitamin B6 can also help some women on this.
Other factors that affect fertility include poor health poor diets, male infertility issues such as low sperm count or poor quality sperm, erectile dysfunction. The age of the female partner, some health advice channels recommend that if your are less than 35 years of age that you try to conceive for at least 12 months before you seek their help (note some do not and for over 35's then you should ry for half a year). You should consult with a doctor to make sure that you are capable, health-wise, to carry a baby to term before starting on one of the many courses of treatment that is available. Your doctor is a valuable resource of information about the medical issues that you may have, and can provide a physical examination of the pelvic area and/or prescribe to you with prenatal vitamin supplement to aid your cause of trying to conceive.
